Rules and terms governing the use of the Huntly mobile application (Consumer) and the B2B data platform (Huntly Data)

Last updated: October 15, 2026 • Version 3.1

CONSUMER & COMMUNITY SERVICES

Part 1 — Huntly Application Services

Art. 1 — Fuel Price Comparison Service

Huntly provides users free of charge, through its mobile applications and website, an informational service for localizing, searching and comparing fuel prices (petrol, diesel, LPG, CNG, EV charging) across more than 80,000 service stations in Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium and Quebec (Canada).

ℹ️ Pump Price Transparency Clause: Displayed prices are gathered from official public ministerial observatories and community crowd-validation. Information is provided strictly for indicative and comparison purposes. The only legally binding price is the actual price displayed by the station operator at the pump during refueling. Huntly assumes no liability for temporal discrepancies or lags between official registry data and pump prices.

Art. 2 — Supermarket Flyers & Grocery Savings Service

Huntly features a dedicated section for grocery and household savings, enabling users to digitally browse promotional flyers, catalogs and deals from leading retail chains.

Trademarks and Offers Ownership: All trademarks, logos, flyers and chain brandings belong to their respective owners. Huntly acts solely as an informational aggregator. Product availability, discount durations and in-store pricing are solely determined by each retailer.

Art. 3 — XP Points Program (Community & Gamification)

Registered users can earn virtual Experience Points (XP) through platform activity (e.g. daily app usage, reporting and verifying fuel prices, contributing to the community).

⭐ Nature and Value of XP Points: XP points are a complimentary virtual feature designed strictly for gamification and community engagement. They do not constitute legal tender or financial assets, have no monetary value, and are not convertible into or redeemable for cash.

Program Evolution: Methods for utilizing or converting points into promotional perks, partner benefits or discounts will be defined, implemented and communicated by Huntly through future updates to these terms.

Art. 4 — User Code of Conduct, UGC & Account Sanctions

Users agree to interact with the service in good faith. It is strictly prohibited to:

  • Intentionally submit fraudulent reports, inaccurate prices or misleading station data.
  • Attempt to manipulate XP points through automated bots, scripts or multi-accounting.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile or tamper with the mobile application.
⚖️ Account Suspension and Revocation:

In the event of a breach of these conduct rules or fraudulent activities, Huntly reserves the unappealable right to remove submitted content, reset the XP balance to zero, and suspend or terminate the user account permanently, without prior notice.

🌐 Community Contributions License (UGC):

By submitting price updates, fuel station reports, or commercial insights, the user grants Huntly a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, process, aggregate, publish, and commercialize such information within the consumer application and B2B data feeds (Huntly Data).

ENTERPRISE & B2B DATA

Part 2 — Data & API Licensing Terms (Huntly Data)

Terms governing professional access to datasets and API feeds

Art. 5 — Scope of Dataset & API License

Huntly delivers professional data solutions providing access to fresh, historical and real-time fuel price and service station data across Europe and North America to businesses, developers, logistics operators and tech enterprises.

License Grant: Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Huntly grants the client a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the data for internal business operations (e.g. fleet fuel cost optimization, vehicle telematics, market intelligence, internal AI/RAG systems or agreed software integrations).

Art. 6 — Resale Prohibition & Database Protection

Huntly's normalized database, processing pipelines and data feeds constitute intellectual property protected by copyright and database rights (EU Directive 96/9/EC). It is explicitly prohibited to:

  • Resell, sublicense, distribute or commercialize raw datasets, in whole or in part, to third parties (no data brokering).
  • Use Huntly data to build, train or power a commercial service in direct competition with Huntly's consumer application.
  • Perform automated mass web scraping outside authorized API quotas or official batch exports.

Art. 7 — API Credentials, Rate Limits & Infrastructure Security

API keys and authorization tokens provided for Huntly Data are strictly confidential and tied to the licensing organization. Sharing credentials with third parties is prohibited.

Usage Limits: Huntly enforces call rate limits to protect global Edge infrastructure. Abnormal usage or server overload attempts will result in immediate API key suspension.

Art. 8 — Data Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Huntly applies high engineering standards to ensure data freshness, completeness and normalization. However, given the fast-paced nature of energy markets, data is provided on an «as is» basis.

Huntly is not liable for discrepancies between digital feeds and actual pump prices, nor for commercial decisions, route planning or investments made based on this data.

🛡️ Aggregate Limitation of Liability (B2B Liability Cap):

Except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence, Huntly's total aggregate liability towards the B2B client arising out of or related to the use of or inability to use datasets or APIs shall under no circumstances exceed the total fees actually paid by the client to Huntly in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim (or zero euros if the service was accessed on a free or trial tier).

Art. 9 — Commercial Agreements, Attribution & Enterprise Terms

Data delivery volumes, guaranteed SLAs, export formats (REST API, Batch CSV, Apache Parquet) and commercial fees are governed by dedicated agreements with our data sales team ([email protected]).

Attribution: When data is displayed in end-user applications or public dashboards, a «Powered by Huntly Data» link to gethuntly.eu is required, unless a white-label enterprise agreement is in place.
